Wandering & Wondering is a space for personal essays on place, culture, belonging, and the questions that arise along the way.
I’m a filmmaker and writer based in an alpine valley. This is the writing that runs alongside the films: field notes, essays, observations from mountains, trains, roads, villages and winter mornings.
Some pieces begin while travelling. Others begin at home. Most are about movement in one form or another—across landscapes, between languages, through periods of uncertainty, work and weather.
This isn’t really a newsletter in the traditional sense. It’s a place to collect thoughts, encounters and fragments from the places I pass through, usually while looking for something I can’t quite name yet.
